This is a showcase of the very best in spoken word – it’s an evening of creativity and community. A celebration of poetry that transcends boundaries and amplifies new voices.

As part of ongoing wraparound for My Uncle is Not Pablo Escobar, join us for a special celebration of LatinX storytelling and a special Q&A from the film directors.
The London Colombian Film Festival is proud to present an exclusive evening of short film screenings followed by a live Q&A with an inspiring lineup of filmmakers and special guests: Daniela Caceres, Pablo Zapata, Jonathan Caicedo Galindo, and Juan Jose Galeano Paella.
This event creates a space for LatinX film directors based in the UK to share their work, experiences, and creative connections to Latin America through cinema. Through powerful short films and open conversation, audiences will explore themes of identity, migration, memory, culture, and belonging.
Expect an engaging afternoon of thought-provoking films, meaningful discussion, and the opportunity to connect with artists and audiences celebrating contemporary Latin American and LatinX voices.
